Kawasaki Launching new Team Green League in 2015

In keeping with a long-established ethos of grass roots motocross support that stretches back for over thirty years, Kawasaki is to introduce a new Team Green League in 2015 to run in conjunction with the highly popular and ultra-competitive MCF Youth League.

With a wide geographical spread across the UK, the Team Green League will be part of the MCF racing programme incorporating 9 clubs in total. It will create 4 winners at the end of the season covering 65cc, the small and big wheel 85cc categories and the Rookie class.
Limited to riders who compete within the MCF race events, eligibility for prizes is a simple affair requiring only a pre-season registration direct with the MCF, and with each applicant naturally being Kawasaki mounted.
Regardless of final MCF finishing position, the top Kawasaki youth competitor in each class across the 9 clubs combined with fighting for an amazing support package from Kawasaki including discounted machinery and spares as well as product bundles from associated Team Green sponsors. As well as the great support from Kawasaki, the MCF will licence the riders to include Personal Accident Insurance and other incentives.
With winners announced at the MCF Grand Slam event held over 5 and 6 September, award certificates will be presented by Team Green stalwart, Jeff Perrett. Soon after the lucky Team Green League winners will be invited to work alongside Team Green staff at Kawasaki Motors UKo n their very won 2016 Team Green League support package.

Speaking about the concept, Racing Co-ordinator for Kawasaki Motors UK, Ross Burridge said:
"We want as many people as possible in the world of motocross to be able to feel part of Team Green. With the recent success of Team Green on track in the Youth British Championships, we are aiming to extend the Team Green ethos beyond our four Official Team Green riders and branch out to the grass roots of motocross.
With many more initiatives coming over the next few months this is the first of our plans to help riders immerse themselves in the world of Team Green. And who knows, winning the Team Green league could springboard aspiring and talented riders ambitions even further with Kawasaki."

MCG General Manager Roy Barton added "The MCF has always had its feet firmly on the ground working closely with clubs at grass roots level. We have been working hard to introduce benefits to our licence holders, as we have shown with the great product releases this year. To be able to work alongside Kawasaki on the Team Green League is not only a great compliment but also very exciting for our Kawasaki mounted riders."
